The moon was split in two by a gesture of the blessed finger of our beloved Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi wa Sallam 

عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ أَنَّهُ حَدَّثَهُمْ أَنَّ أَهْلَ مَكَّةَ سَأَلُوْا رَسُوْلَ اللهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَنْ يُرِيَهُمْ آيَةً فَأَرَاهُمْ انْشِقَاقَ الْقَمَرِ

 Narrated by Hazrat Anas Ibn Malik Radiyallahu Anhu, the disbelievers of Makkah asked Huzur Pak sallallahu alaihi wa sallam for guidance, and he showed them the moon in two.

Match it with any formula of physics?

 All the scientists will not be able to match the calculation of such a gesture of the blessed finger of our Prophet until the doomsday.
